            A premier school with Boys' Hostel, estabilished in 01-07-1965 is one of the oldest fraternity of schools of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under Ministry of HRD, Deptt. of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, is situated in Sitamarhi district of North Bihar, which boasts of being the birth place of the divine Mother Sita, administering 828 students and 56 employees(including outsourced) on rolls as on 01-03-2010. Vidyalaya is having two sections each from classes I to X and one section of Science stream in classes XI and XII.
