 The minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
 
The result of Class X and XII was 92.6and 93.7% respectively , it was better than previous year.
The extra classes of X(Eng, Maths, Science) and XII(Phy., Chem., Bio., Maths) were arranged during Autumn Break .
PTA meeting was organized during October in which parents were told to have proper watch on the activity of students at home and they should visit Vidyalaya after each Test/Exam. to know the progress of their ward.
In order to improve the quality of CBSE Class result in 2009 remedial classes of weak students are being arranged during Winter Break. Parents are issued letter to this effect.
Primary classes are back bone of child education. For this certain minimum teaching-learning materials are recommended by KVS to be arranged in the Vidyalaya .One TV, 4 durries and one DVD has been arranged. One OHP, One LCD and One photocopier and one HP printer is to be arranged under this program.

Vidyalaya was having shortage of 04 PGT’s teachers up to September but now all important subjects teachers have joined and classes are running properly and academic environment has improved.
04 posts of PRT’s is still vacant. It is hoped these posts will be filled soon.

VMC members are requested to give approval of 01 OHP, 01 LCD and 01 photocopier which will cost about 02 lacks.
Maintenance of staff Q. is finished and M&R wok of Vidyalaya has started. School building wall is being white washed.
Presently agency gives 1600/- for 12 hours duty which is less than wages of a daily labour. Members are requested to give approval to increase it to 2000/- to 2400/-.
Members are requested to allow purchase of one 5 KVA generator for computer classes
of Primary sections.

Fencing of Vidyalaya Garden is yet to done.
Light is very necessary for safety and security at night. For these 04 light points of 30W CFL needed to be fixed.
In order to inculcate moral values among students 24 ply wood boards inscribed with appealing quotations are to be fixed on the walls.
Earlier there was only one hand pump for water. Now 03 hand pumps are functioning.
Vidyalaya has sufficient Sheesham and Sagon wood. These will be utilised for making 20 Teachers chairs, 01 Staff room table and 40 stools for Jr. Sc. Lab.

Members are requested to suggest method to dispose the dry and decaying wood.
The water from these two sources is percolating in the nearby agricultural field Members are requested to suggest suitable measure to resolve this problem
The boundary wall of Vidyalaya is low and it needs to be raised by 02 feet and fitted with iron grills with fencing wire. If suggested we may write to KVS(HQ).

It was assured to get 100% Pass in session 2009-10 and P.I. target set by KVS would be achieved
PTA meeting was organised on 25th August 09 for X &XII and on 31st Aug for Primary section in which parents were told to have proper watch on the activity of students at home and they should visit Vidyalaya after each Test/ Exam. to know the progress of their ward.
In order to improve the quality of CBSE Class result in 2010 remedial classes of weak students are started in Phy. , Chem & Eng. Extra classed for low achievers would be arranged during Breaks..
Primary classes are back bone of child education. They are to be taught by activity method. For this purpose certain minimum teaching-learning materials recommended by KVS to be arranged. All CMP equipments are already arranged and teaching through animated CD’s and work sheet is under progress.

At present Vidyalaya is having full strength of teachers in Secondary section. But we are lacking in of 01 HM and 04 PRT’s teachers which is being done by contract base teachers.KVS has appointed 04 regular PRT’s out of which 01 has joined and classes are running properly.and academic environment has improved.
HM post is still vacant on date.

Maintenance of roof of staff Q. will be started after sanction of fund by KVS .Renovation of School building is to be done by HSCL a construction agency.
Fresh tender has been invited to enhance the wages of watch and ward in accordance with Bihar Govt notification.
Our Vidyalya has a boys’ hostel of 96 beds and presently 87 students are residing in it. KVS has sanctioned 295000/ for purchase of generator for electricity and other facilities
 An on line supply order to purchase a 10 KVA generator (Kirlosker) through DGS&D has been made. 
The members visited Vidyalaya Hostel and saw the condition of toilets and other things .They suggested to repair the damaged floor and walls of. It was assured to complete this task and white washing during Autumn Break. 
The cost of essential commodities has gone much high and presently Rs.1000/-(200/- for cooks & 800/- for fooding) from students. Therefore a meeting of parents of students of hostel and members of HFC is fixed on 23-09-2009 to get their consent before enhancing their fee and it was approved by VMC members.
VMC members were requested to approve the VVN budget 2009-10 as per KVS norms and it was approved.

Fencing of Vidyalaya Garden is yet to done .HSCL Engineer has been told to prepare its estimate
In order to have a clean field Vidyalya has planned to pile 1136 sq. m area by bricks & cement and it has been instructed by Hon’ble Chairman to get it done on actual cost and submit the bills after completion..
Out of 04 hand pumps only 03 hand pumps provide clear and safe drinking water therefore Vidyalya has just installed one more hand pump for secondary section
KVS has advised to make a children park equipped with sliding, swings (single & double), merry go round see-saw, for the students of Primary section and Vidyalaya has planned it to make behind the Primary block Estimate is to be sent to KVS for approval.
The furniture & fixtures of Vidyalya Library
had become old ,remained uncared and lost their shining due to vacant post of Librarian from 4 years. Now we have a regular Librarian and all furniture and fixtures are being renovated to make it more attractive to students and readers.

A construction agency HSCL has been assigned various types of works by KVS in Vidyalaya like Earth filling, Computer lab for secondary section, toilets for Boys , toilets for Girls, Cycle stand, Vidyalya canteen, and renovation of School building. But the progress of work is so slow that no any single work has not been fully done or handed over by the agency. Hon’ble Chairman talked with Project Manager of HSCL personally and instructed see the work within three days and expedite the construction process and complete in time. The Chairman told to invite HSCLin the next VMC meeting
The members saw the Basket Ball court constructed by PWD and expressed concern on the quality of work. The Chairman instructed to write to KVS as why not FIR should be lodged against PWD contractor for the said discrepancy.
VMC members were requested to accord permission to make furniture for Vidyalaya from wooden logs and Chairman told to furnish details of requirements and measure of logs that is needed for the same.
A monitoring committee consisting of members as per Education code to see the progress and quality of materials used in construction work is to be made: Chairman VMC advised to call all members in the next VMC meeting.
Members approved the above minutes.
MINUTES OF PTA MEETING SESSION 2009-10
DATE : 25-08-09 
1)      The meeting was held with discussion on the performance of students of classes X and XII in Ist UT.
2)      Parents were to told to have watch on the studies of their wards at home and keep in contact with the subject teacher of the Vidyalaya.
3)      Parents requested to arrange extra class of English in class X and it was accepted.
4)      Some parents asked Vidyalaya to manage vehicles for students, but it was denied on the fact that KV can not manage it .Parents should make their own arrangement.
5)      It was agreed that meeting would be held after each test or exam.
6)      At last there was an interactive open session between parents and subject teachers.
Date : 31-10-09
1.      The parents were advised to have watch on the studies of their wards at home.
2.      Parents were asked to insure their regular attendance of students in Vidyalaya as irregularity hampers the quality of result.
3.      Parents were told to be always in touch with the subject teach and know the progress and performance of their wards in Class Test / Examinations.
4.      They are advised to arrange Model Sample Papers and CBSE Sample Papers for practice.
